Happy Monday Morning Reader!

I'm back this morning with a little inspirational story (ya know I love to inspire you, don't you?)

It really illustrates what Napoleon Hill meant when he wrote...

The story goes that a young aspiring guitarist had just been spotted and signed up by a professional band.

Within weeks he was about to fulfill his fantasy and head off on the road as a professional musician.

...all very good news and a dream come true for this working-class lad.

However, on his very last day in his job before joining the group, he had a bit of a falling out with the machine he was operating.

This falling out resulted in him losing the tips of some of his fingers 😱

This would have been bad enough for anyone, but for a budding guitarist who was just about to go professional it was frankly catastrophic!

Of course, the group who had wanted him to play with them had to replace him.

A ten-megatonne bomb had been put under his dream!

It might seem like the universe just can’t catch a break these days, but it actually does have its moments.

And you could understand our hero if he had just given up and accepted that his dream might never come true.

But he wasn’t going to let this hold him back.

He found he could use old washing up liquid bottles to fashion some artificial fingertips that allowed him to continue doing what he loved, i.e. play his guitar.

Of course, the accident meant he had to learn to play the guitar in a totally new way…with a new sound.

If we fast forward a few years, the guitarist, Tony Iommi, went on to create Black Sabbath.

His forced change of playing style, in turn gave Sabbath their distinctive ‘heavy’ style.

This style went a long way to the band being credited for inventing heavy metal!

Absolutely not my type of music, but I always love an inspiring story 😎

For sure, not many people can say they CREATED a style of music.

But there is so much more you and I can create!

Because, when life seems to be dumping on you from a great height, just remember who knows what it could mean in the long term.

So this setback that you're going through right now?
Could it actually be the seed to an even greater accomplishment than you can see at this very moment?

Just remember that anything can happen when you put your head down and focus on that one thing you know deep inside will make a difference.

Something for you to mull over this week if your business is not achieving the results you would like or expect. (don't feel alone, I include myself too)
